Cam Borody graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Winnipeg. While at the U of W he was a member of the varsity men’s volleyball team. He graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto. After graduating he entered a 2 year full time sports sciences residency program which provided an opportunity to study with medical and chiropractic specialists in orthopedics, diagnostic imaging and rehabilitation. He also worked with provincial and national level athletes including the Toronto Lynx Soccer Club, several CPSL teams, and provincial and national level martial artists (Tae Kwon Do).
After completing the residency program Dr. Borody became a faculty member at CMCC where he mentors chiropractic students in the college clinic. He also coordinates and lectures the public health course at CMCC. He has completed continuing education courses in Active Release Techniques, Graston, and Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. He has also completed a 220 hour course in acupuncture.
Dr. Borody has published papers in peer reviewed journals including: Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise, Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics, and the Journal of Chiropractic Education. He maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys participating in volleyball, basketball, golf, tennis, and weight training.
